DataFlex 25.0 Update 1 is here

We’ve just released DataFlex 25.0 Update 1 (25.0.29.78)! This is the first official update to DataFlex 2025, and it’s all about delivering on the feedback we received after the initial 25.0 release.

DataFlex 2025 introduced major updates like the Navigation Designer and Dashboards. With Update 1, we’ve focused on key fixes and targeted improvements that make your development experience even smoother, more stable, and more productive. Here’s what’s new... 

Fixes and improvements

Dashboard

• Fixed an issue with nested dynamic objects
• Resolved an error that occurred when removing a widget containing a weblist with a header

Documentation

• Corrected the Validate_Delete_No_Cascade entry in the Class Reference

• Added a link to the What’s New in DataFlex 2025 Learning Center course

Installer

• Updated registration code for the WebApp Server license included with the Studio evaluation

Runtime

• Fixed an error when creating a Composite with cWebColumn objects

Studio

• Improved handling of old breakpoint files to prevent “Invalid message MSG_SETINACTIVEBREAKPOINT” 

• Better handling of TEMP folders with spaces to prevent wizard errors

Web Controls

• Added more flexibility to cWebColumnLink—columns can now include or exclude links

• Fixed an error with WebDrawing ExportDrawingPNG

• Added checks to ensure DragScroll events only fire when pbScroll is set to True

The build is now available! To use this version:

• Uninstall your current DataFlex 25.0 installation
• Install the new build
• Use your existing registration codes, no need to request new ones
